The Juror and Workshop Artist
Judi Betts, NWS, AWS, Baton Rouge, LA, is a highly respected, internationally recognized painter, author, instructor, and juror. She has authored two award-winning books, Watercolor…Let’s Think About It (5th printing)and Painting… A Quest Toward Xtraordinary (5 awards).
Betts received the Louisiana Governor’s Award for outstanding professional artist. She has presented more than 350 workshops worldwide. Her paintings are known for their luminosity, humor, and sparkle and are featured in more than 35 books. Creating watercolors that “sparkle” is her trademark; “magical shapes” her specialty.
She is a member of the Salmagundi Club, the National Art Club, the National Watercolor Society, and is a board member for the American Watercolor Society, and Watercolor USA Honor Society.

The exhibition itself runs from April 13 - June 19, 2010 at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead MN.
